We are looking for an experienced Digital Designer to join our expanding creative studio at Traffic. Our digital projects will include website design, App design, digital advertising campaign development, social media app design. The designer will work independently and also as part of a broader creative team.
The Role:
The designer must demonstrate a strong ability to design across multiple platforms, from wireframes, websites, apps to online banner design. The designer must be confident at all stages in a project and product a high level of finished work from initial conceptualization to wireframing / UX & UI planning through to a finished design. The designer will report to the Design Manager and Creative Director.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- The designer will need to show an impressive portfolio of digital projects that showcase his/her best works including live projects.
- The designer must have strong communication and project management skills.
- A minimum three years’ experience with a creative agency is a must.
- Naturally the designer must demonstrate a passion for all things digital and design, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web design and understanding the abilities and limitations of these technologies
- The designer must fluent in written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus.
Other skills required:
- A solid understanding of web design with proven experience of designing small brochure sites and larger, more complex sites including ecommerce.
- A strong interest and understanding of UX and the usability of your creations
- A clear knowledge and understanding of responsive web design, and design for mobile
- Knowledge/understanding of CSS3 and HTML are a plus
- Expert knowledge of the working software including Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator.
- The designer must be an enthusiastic individual, and work and grow within a team environment.
Finally…
The most suitable candidates will demonstrate a top portfolio with fantastic design, and must demonstrate a love for digital design and a desire to continue learning and staying up with the current trends.
